When I started researching handmade soap in the Fall of 2001, I quickly learned how important it is to have good soap making books that will teach you every step involved in making soap at home.  After reading several books and learning the soapmaking process inside and out, I made my first batch of soap in February 2002.  From that day on I was hooked on soap making.

Soap making is a creative outlet for me.  I formulate my own soap recipes and I find that the possibilities are endless.  And I can honestly say there is nothing quite like a good bar of handmade soap!  From the day I made my first batch of soap, I have used nothing else on my skin and my skin loves me for it.
